For a client in southern Jutland Moment is looking for truckdrivers with minimum of 2–3 years of experience in handling and transporting animals (pigs), as well as a valid animal transport competence certificate.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced truck drivers to operate routes in and out of Brørup, primarily running from Brørup to Southern Jutland. Drivers must hold a CE license, EU qualification, and a driver card.

You will be driving:

• Scania or Mercedes tractor units (max. 1 year old)
• Pezzaiolli "3 deck" trailers (max. 1 year old)

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading animals
• Washing the truck at the slaughterhouse after each load
• Maintaining high standards of animal welfare

Job Conditions

• Work schedules can be arranged as 14 days on / 1 week off, or continuous work with holidays as needed.
• Toilets and showers are available at the customer’s location.
• Drivers may live in the truck for up to 14 days - It can be arranged that employees work, for example, 14 days and then take one week off to travel home.
• No permanent residence in Denmark is required; drivers can work two weeks and return home between shifts.
• All driving starts from Brørup, where trucks can also be parked, and where facilities are available.

Salary and work hours

Drivers can expect up to 55–60 hours work week.

• Base hourly wage: DKK 174.15
• Qualification supplement: DKK 3.80
• Attachment supplement: DKK 4.00 – granted to good drivers after 3 months
• Live animal transport supplement: DKK 14.00
• Seniority supplement after 9 months: DKK 8.15

Payment for work performed beyond the guaranteed 37 hours is according to ATL § 6 and currently as follows:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd hour after normal working hours: DKK 44.56

• Sundays and public holidays: DKK 109.40
