Working in Network & Operations at Unifeeder
As the new Central Operational Manager for Northern Europe (NEU), you will be responsible for leading and developing the five operators within the Central Operations team in Aarhus.
The team coordinates, prioritizes, and plans port calls for 40 vessels across NEU, working closely with local operational teams in Hamburg, Gdynia, and Copenhagen. We value trust, humor, and professional curiosity and take pride in contributing actively to Unifeeder’s sustainability goals through smarter operations.
This position is in our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, and travelling should be expected (30-40 days annually). You will report to Anders Flarup Lund, Operations Director, and will be collaborating across our entire Network & Operations function.

Key areas of responsibilities :
Daily management and leadership of the Central Operations team in Aarhus, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Ensure close and constructive cooperation with internal stakeholders to support efficient fleet operations.
Follow up on terminal operations and identify improvement areas in collaboration with local operational teams.
Monitor vendor performance and engage internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements.
Maintain close contact with terminal management to ensure Unifeeder’s interests are represented and aligned with operational priorities.
Optimize and analyze vessel performance during sea passages and port stays using IT systems and BI tools.
Assist Group Procurement with acquiring operational services in the region.
Support the Sales organization with insights into the current operational landscape.
Support internal and external stakeholders in the ongoing digitalization of our operations.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you ideally have a maritime background or relevant industry experience from a shipping company or terminal. You bring deep knowledge of container vessel operations and stowage planning.
