The work will be carried out in connection with equipment and testing facilities located near Esbjerg, Denmark.
To succeed in this role, you will receive thorough training and support from an experienced team.
Main responsibilities:
- Undertake complete mechanical and electrical review of the existing umbilical winch system design drawings.
- Undertake review of the Siemens PLC software, S120-CU310 Drive software and HMI software of the existing umbilical winch system and associated level wind.
- Support specification of the required pull-in winch system required to work with the Umbilical winch and integration of the associated controls between both systems.
- Upgrade PLC software for the umbilical winch from a tension-control based system to a position-control based system.
- Update 2x WinCC HMI Comfort panels application software to support the newly defined position-control philosophy of the umbilical winch.
- Electrical / controls concept design including development of a Functional Design Specification to support the new control philosophy.

Working hours: 37 hours per week
